Return to UDT Decision Support
An opiates screening test is a locally determined panel of 5-15 urine drug tests for commonly used/administered opioids along with other legal or illegal substances often used by patients. The Table below provides two example of common UDT Panels. If a screening test is positive an additional confirmatory test is sometimes indicated.
# | Standard Drugs of Abuse | Expanded Drugs of Abuse |
---|---|---|
1 | Ethyl Alcohol | Ethyl Alcohol |
2 | Amphetamine | Amphetamine |
3 | Barbuturates | Barbuturates |
